Ahmed Spins (real name Ahmed Akhannouch, born in Casablanca in 1999) is a Moroccan DJ and producer who spans Afro-house, deep house and contemporary electronic sounds. Raised in Casablanca, he started out at a very young age studying piano, guitar and drums before moving to Boston for his studies, where he became involved in music production. In 2022 he signed his first EP with Moblack Records, Anchor Point, which garnered millions of streams and opened doors for him at international festivals such as Coachella.
His music blends emotive melodies, percussive rhythms inspired by Moroccan tradition and electronic grooves: a sound that has attracted the attention of industry bigwigs such as Adam Port, Diplo and Tiësto. His live shows have been applauded at iconic venues such as Circoloco in Ibiza, Club Space Miami and Coachella (2025), where he shared the stage with Pete Tong.
In addition to his recording career, Ahmed is a founding member of Deep House Bible, an international collective that combines music, art and culture, committed to creating immersive events and global communities.
A young but already established artist, Ahmed Spins continues to explore new sounds and collaborations: in 2025 he released Waterfall together with Elderbrook and has many sold-out live shows in Europe and North America to his credit.
