Mladen Solomun (born 27 December 1975 in Travnik, Bosnia-Herzegovina) is a Bosnian-German DJ and producer who has radically transformed the international deep-house scene. Raised in Hamburg, he worked in construction with his father in his youth before discovering a passion for music and starting the Diynamic project in 2006, a label that has become an influential platform for emerging talent and his own personal sound.
His style is distinguished by an addictive mix of deep house, melodic techno and indie dance: funky basslines, euphoric melodies and an emotional intensity that sets him apart. He became famous in 2012 when Mixmag named him 'DJ of the Year', thanks also to his regular presence in Ibiza, where he created iconic formats such as Solomun + 1 at Pacha, performing until dawn in performances that are true sound journeys.
In addition to various albums and compilations, his work as a producer and remixer has brought him important recognition and a strong reputation. His signature long sets with changing atmospheres, events such as 'Day Zero' and his narrative approach to music have established him as one of the most authentic and moving voices in modern electronica. With crystalline energy and an ever-evolving sonic vision, Solomun continues to be among the most influential and respected names on the global scene.
