Kim Min-ji (born 3 July 1991 in Incheon, South Korea), known on stage as Peggy Gou, is a world-renowned DJ, producer, singer and songwriter based in Berlin.
After studying in London, where he began to explore the underground music scene, he moved permanently to Berlin in 2014. Here she began working in record shops and playing in clubs, making a name for herself with her sets that mix melodic house, deep and minimal. In 2016, she became the first Korean DJ to play at the famous club Berghain.
He released a series of acclaimed EPs - including Seek for Maktoop, Once and Moment - and in 2018 disappeared into the charts with the phenomenon single It Makes You Forget (Itgehane). In 2019 he created his own independent label Gudu Records and released the compilation DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou. His first studio album, I Hear You, is released on 7 June 2024 by XL Recordings and contains global hits such as (It Goes Like) Nanana, I Go, 1+1=11 (with video by Olafur Eliasson) and I Believe in Love Again with Lenny Kravitz.
Her vibrant and multicultural DJ sets take her to the most prestigious stages of international festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Sónar and Glastonbury. Beyond music, Peggy is also a global style model, founding the fashion brand KIRIN in 2019 and regularly collaborating with brands such as Maybelline.
